Foster children often must shuffle their belongings in plastic bags when they need to relocate.

Being removed from the home is traumatic enough for a child; having a piece of luggage for his/her cherished possessions is a source of comfort in an otherwise very stressful situation. You can help lighten their load by providing a place to put and carry their few personal items. Kids who receive your support range in age from newborns to teenagers.

We encourage the community to HELP by dropping off luggage for the kids.

The Suitcase Drive will be held
Wednesday, November 2, 2011, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Affirmations at 290 W. Nine Mile Rd., Ferndale, MI  48220

Foster teens will be present at Affirmations on the day of the drive.
