Remembering a Unique Colleague and Gentleman Michael Patrick “Mike” Quinn
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we report that our co-worker, Michael Patrick “Mike” Quinn, passed away on Sunday, July 28.
He will be missed by all of his colleagues and all the families and children he served through his work for the past 20 years at Spaulding for Children.
Services for Mr. Quinn were held Friday, August 2, at St. Edith Roman Catholic Church in Livonia

“Personally, I have known and worked with Mike for 20 years and he will be greatly missed by all,” Melissa Jenovai, President and CEO of Spaulding for Children, said. “Mike never missed a work event that we organized for the families and he was always there to lend a helping hand. Often he was the first one to sign up to help and the last person to leave the event; and never was there a time when he didn’t respond to our computer and technology woes. While the news has been shocking and sad, it is through our support of one another we will grieve and heal together.”
Mr. Quinn enjoyed music and all types of sports, especially volleyball. He commonly would be seen cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays or any of the Detroit sports teams. He also loved traveling and spending time with his cherished family and friends.
