Tungkol sa The Center
Ang National Center for Enhanced Post-Adoption Support is a five-year, cooperative agreement funded by the Children’s Bureau of the Administration on Children & Families (ACF), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) beginning in October 2023. The National Center will be pivotal to bridging the gap of equipping child welfare agencies with the tools and knowledge necessary to meet the needs of children and families who have achieved permanency through adoption or guardianship. The Center will serve as a hub for post-adoption expertise and evidence-informed training and technical assistance to support states, tribal nations and territories (STTs) as they develop and implement community responsive, comprehensive and accessible post-adoption services.
Ibibigay ng Center ang mga sumusunod na serbisyo:
- Maging hub para sa pagbibigay ng teknikal na tulong na may kaalaman sa ebidensya upang makatulong na mapaunlad ang kapasidad ng mga STT habang sila ay bumubuo at naghahatid ng mga komprehensibong post-permanency program para sa mga pamilya at mga bata na nakamit ang pag-aampon o pangangalaga.
- Magbigay ng on-site na teknikal na tulong upang matulungan ang mga STT na bumuo, magpatupad at tiyakin ang pagpapanatili ng komprehensibo, masinsinang mga serbisyo pagkatapos ng permanenteng pag-unlad.
- Maglagay ng komprehensibong repositoryo ng kaalaman at pinakamahuhusay na kagawian na naa-access sa lahat ng STT.
Ilalabas ng Center ang repository sa Enero ng 2024. Ang pagpili ng site para sa intensive, on-site na teknikal na tulong ay magsisimula sa Marso 2024. Limang STT ang pipiliin para sa intensive technical assistance sa 2024; dagdag na limang STT ang pipiliin para dito bawat taon hanggang sa pagtatapos ng grant.
