From the QIC-AG this is a recording of a webinar presented in 2015. This webinar explores how child welfare systems must evolve to support children and families not only during foster care, but after adoption or guardianship has been finalized. It introduces the National Quality Improvement Center for Adoption/Guardianship Support and Preservation (QIC-AG) initiative and its work to develop evidence-based, post-permanence interventions. The session also presents a continuum framework that begins at system entry and extends beyond legal permanence, with a practical demonstration of how the framework can be used to assess strengths and gaps in child welfare service systems.
