Overview

The QIC-AG Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska Site Implementation Manual documents the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s implementation of Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) as part of the National Quality Improvement Center for Adoption/Guardianship Support and Preservation (QIC-AG). The manual provides a detailed roadmap for implementing FGDM in a culturally responsive, tribal child welfare context to strengthen family involvement and support permanency for children moving toward, or who have achieved, adoption or guardianship. It outlines system assessment, theory of change development, readiness and fit considerations, implementation planning, fidelity monitoring, and sustainability, while highlighting adaptations and lessons learned to support replication in other tribal or community-based systems.
