This resource provides a detailed description of New Jersey’s implementation of the Tuning in to Teens (TINT) intervention as part of the Quality Improvement Center for Adoption and Guardianship Support and Preservation (QIC‑AG). Implemented within the Selective interval of the QIC‑AG Permanency Continuum Framework, TINT is an evidence‑based, emotion‑coaching program for parents of youth ages 10–18. The document outlines the intervention model, target population, training requirements, and adaptations made to ensure relevance for adoptive and kinship guardianship families, highlighting how proactive, prevention‑focused services can strengthen family relationships, reduce post‑permanency instability, and improve outcomes for adolescents and caregivers.
