Overview
National Quality Improvement Center for Adoption and Guardianship Support and Preservation: Intercountry and Private DomesticThe Intercountry and Private Domestic Adoption Final Evaluation Report presents findings from a QIC‑AG study examining how post‑adoption services support families formed through intercountry and private domestic adoptions. The report analyzes data from multiple QIC‑AG pilot sites to better understand family characteristics, child well‑being, family dynamics, and the effectiveness of trauma‑informed, post‑permanency interventions for this population. By addressing a gap in research on privately and internationally adopted children, the report offers evidence‑informed insights to help agencies and practitioners tailor post‑adoption services that strengthen family stability and well‑being beyond adoption finalization.
