Overview
This resource contains the Vermont Permanency Survey adapted specifically for families formed through private domestic and intercountry/international adoption as part of Vermont’s QIC‑AG project. The survey instrument gathers detailed information on family composition, child background, caregiver and child well‑being, adoption experiences, and access to supports and services. Developed to complement Vermont’s universal outreach strategy, this version of the survey ensures that the experiences and needs of private and international adoptive families are included in statewide analysis. Data collected are used to identify family strengths, detect early signs of post‑permanency challenges, and inform responsive, inclusive post‑adoption support planning across Vermont’s system of care.
