Spaulding Board Members in the Community

Spaulding Board Chair Kristi Plain participated in a Speed Mentoring session in November sponsored by the Midnight Golf Program.

The invitation was extended by Spaulding Board Member and Treasurer Willie L. Smith, who has worked for many years with the nonprofit Midnight Golf.

Speed Mentoring is a type of networking event where participants meet for short 15-minute bursts to discuss career development opportunities.

The participants met over two days. The program included 300 high school seniors from southeast Michigan.

Ms. Plain is the Executive Human Resource Director at Cummins Inc., an American multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, filtration, and power generation products. She met with the students and provided invaluable insight into careers in her industry.
